How is your buying your own food going? How are you finding the taste of it all is? It might take a while for you to get used to the taste of healthy food if you've never really had it as part of your diet. Sending you good thoughts! Lels
My answer:Hello!
Trying to keep active on here has been a tad hard. Two of my teachers have already loaded us up to the eyeballs with homework!
I went shopping on Monday before school started with my dad. Its really so….amazing for me that he’s taken such an interest in doing this with me. We both bought healthy foods for food this week!
At the moment I’m having rye toast with scrambled eggs and some home made juice for breakfast. I’m snacking on mostly fruit through the day. I saw an awesome picture of banana with peanut butter so we got a huge organic tub to share. I’ve been having it with apples, banana and carrot. Lunch has been pita breads stuffed with veggies, fruit and lean meats (these taste awesome!) and dinner dad’s been making stir fry for us two. I’m finding the tastes really interesting because I’ve never really experienced such a variety in food before. What we usually eat all kind of tastes the same if that makes any sense
I’m still slipping up occasionally and I find its because of habit. I had a glass of coke yesterday while I was doing homework before I even realised what I was doing. By the time I went ‘oh shit’ I’d already drunk it. I always drink coke when I study so that ones going to be hard. I also bought a chocolate at school yesterday, but instead of having it on my own I halved it with a friend. I reckon slip ups will keep happening until I really break the habits, but every time I think of going back to the way I use to eat, I remember my aunt in that coffin and it honestly scares the absolute hell out of me.
So going good, I suppose!
